That will help make sure you aren’t loosing too much muscle and give you some energy to get through your pt. I’ll be honest here, I called this green not because it uses a lot of green leafy veggies but the output will be green. In fact, the only green vegetable in this recipe is spinach and you can put lots of it, depending on your taste buds.
You can however use a blender to make smoothies and you’ll still get the detoxifying and nutritional benefits. You’ll go through detox and lose weight slower but it will still work depending on what your goals are. Just make sure you have a blend when you feel hungry and don’t over eat. Cheers!

Angie, if you juiced for three months you may possibly lose between 60-100 pounds (4-7st). As far as side effects there’s not really much besides the typical side effects. I wouldn’t go longer than than 100 days though. I wish you the best of luck on your goal and please keep me posted Angie.

You’ll probably lose about 10-15 pounds in the first week once you get past the headaches, moodiness, and sluggishness that will set in after the first few days on a fruit and vegetable juice diet.
