About two weeks after I started juicing for weight loss I noticed a pimple like red mark, that had been above my left eye for at least a year, had completely gone away. I had a clarity of mind that I had never experiences before and I had so much energy that I felt a constant and nagging need to be productive. But at the same time I was able to sleep like a baby.

This gives you reason to stick to juicing for long enough to start noticing the difference in how you feel. It is also an investment in your health and well-being; it can even save some medical expenses in the future.

For me, a tough part of the Reboot was that I did it in the winter. I think a summer Reboot would be easier – who doesn’t love to drink lots of healthy cold juices on a hot day! Also, managing to say ‘no’ to foods that were outside of my Reboot was tricky, particularly at work, especially when people challenged what I was doing. I found, and still do find it easier to say ‘no’ to everything that is not part of my new lifestyle, rather than saying ‘yes’ to some things, as I know it would be easy to fall into old habits otherwise. Lastly, trying to do too many different juices was tricky. I decided to stick to just a few ‘favourites’ so that food didn’t go to waste, and I could organise my fridge and do my shopping more efficiently.

While a juice fast may be a fast way to lose weight, it’s not the best way to go if your goal is long-term success. The best way to lose weight juicing is to eat a healthy, reduced-calorie diet that accounts for the calories coming from your fresh juice. Consult your doctor before starting any weight-loss plan.

I have been juicing on and off for several months now, I also exercise at least an hour on three days of the week, I don’t think that the exercise is required, but it just feels right. I lose weight almost immediately, I can see the difference as soon as the next morning. This is a challenging thing to do, but well worth it, I fight weight on a constant, it is no fun. My experience so far is that you have to limit the amount of sugary fruits, your body is just turning them into fat.

The fact is—your body is lacking some very vital nutrients, especially when you are on a diet.  This program is based on quality.  That’s where juicing and/or green smoothies make a difference.  They offer a concentration of nutrients along with knowing how to choose nutrient dense foods.
