Donnie, I am on day 13 of juice fast and my weight loss has stalled past couple of days. Lost 12 lbs and past few days nothing more. Thought I wasn’t drinking enough water but no more drop in weight when added more water. What can I do to up my weight loss again? Still want to loss 30 more lbs. Is it beneficial to eat a few days? I realize my body is probably in protection mode and holding on to the weight.
I don’t know the details of your personal situation, but juicing really does help a lot of people lose weight when used as a fast or to replace meals/snacks. My advice would be to try replacing a meal or snack with juice (if you haven’t tried that already). I’m assuming your juicing along with your regular food, which is great, but could be the reason why.
Daniel, if you lose weight the right way, your body will adapt and your skin will adjust. Give yourself a good 14 day fast and then re-evaluate things and go from there. As far as workouts go, it’s best to let your body rest and recover during the first 3-5 days as you’ll be going through detox. Just rest, let your body heal, and then feel free to get back at your workouts. Just listen to your body and don’t push yourself too hard Daniel. Of all the info I have seen on the net about juicing, I find this article to be most comprehensive and realistic. I want to try juicing for 21 days ( I Have done 10 in the past on juice only) with one meal at lunch. I have so much weight to loose, I am hoping this will jump start my weight loss journey which I can later maintain with a healthy life style. what foods can i consider as lunch options in order to loose faster? I have back and knee pain problems so my work out capacity is currently limited. I am 36 yrs, 1.76 meters tall weighing 115 kg( i was 120 before the last juice fast.

Drinking fresh juice every day for 30 days has its benefits, unless that’s the only thing you’re consuming. Most 30-day juice diets involve you fasting on juice alone to either help you lose weight or detox your body. You certainly will lose weight subsisting on a juice-only diet, but it’s not the healthiest way to go. And as for a detox diet, your body already has that covered. Consult your doctor before starting a juice diet.

I haven been hungry at all, all I cut was sugar and no fried food and yes to lots of vegetables and fruits, I did a few meals instead of salad I did mean green but never every day or all mealsi want to try to do it .

I want to try juicing to cleanse and of course lose weight (what woman doesn’t want that)I don’t have a juicer and don’t want to break the bank (hello..college student) Is there a way to use a blender or even a magic bullet instead of buying a really expensive juicer and still get good cleansing/weight loss results?
The problem is that you can’t live on juice forever. You need protein, fiber, and fat in your diet to remain healthy and strong. If you can tolerate the side effects of the detox, than a short fast is a great way to kick start a weight loss program. But keep it to 10 days max, that should be long enough for your body to clean itself out and purge a healthy amount of fat, without you doing any long term damage.
i am on day 3 planning on changing my life once and for all..only juicing for 1 month to enjoy the next 40 years and to get off all meds..and to not have to wear my sleep mask anymore..(although I hear the weight loss may not help the snoring)
