Is there some reason you cant keep a juice with you? I usually bring more juice than I need to work with me, but instead of keeping it in our communal fridge, I bought a little cooler that I keep in my car. I drink a juice on the way to work, at lunch, and then on the way home from work each day. I have more juice just incase which I have for dinner usually. In between meals if I’m feeling tired I’ll have some black Chai or green tea. If I’m hungry I’ll try and drink more water to tie me over until my next meal. Hope this helps!

I haven been hungry at all, all I cut was sugar and no fried food and yes to lots of vegetables and fruits, I did a few meals instead of salad I did mean green but never every day or all mealsi want to try to do it .

While juices are best when you drink them right away, that doesn’t always work for all of us. It’s okay to make your juices in the morning and take a few to work with you. Just keep them in airtight containers and store them in a refrigerator until you’re ready to drink them. What if ur “cheat” is just a salad. I have been juicing a week and today I felt I had to eat something my energy was so low. I had a plain salad and felt a lot better. Will this type of thing derail my goals??

Limiting your intake to fresh juice cleanses your body of environmental toxins, while promoting health, according to the book “30 Day Juice Cleanse.” But you don’t need to limit your diet to juice alone to get rid of toxic substances. Your kidneys and liver do that for you, unless they’re diseased, in which case you should consult your doctor about your specific dietary needs and the potential harm of a 30-day juice diet. If you want to improve your health and feel better, eat a healthy diet high in fiber and low in fat with a variety of nutrient-rich foods from all the food groups, in addition to your fruits and vegetables.

The science behind juicing is rather lengthy so I will sum it up for you but provide a reference to read further into the science behind it at the end of this article. When you go on a juice fast you are creating a condition of low concentration of toxic wastes in your circulatory system. The cells will then let go of their toxic wastes along with fats. These wastes and fats get passed out through your urine. I am coming close to the end of my 14 day fast. I have lost 12 pounds at this point on day 10 but my goal is to lose a total of 30-40 pounds. I have really been wanting to eat solid food for the last couple of days and am looking forward to eating again. I am planning on eating for about a week or 10 days and then starting a 7 day juice fast and then eating for a few days and then doing a 7 day juice fast and so on and so forth until I reach my goal weight. Do you think my body will respond in this manner of fasting then eating then fasting? If it makes more sense to do another 14 day fast after I eat solids for a week or so then I guess I would give that a try again but after the end of day 9 it started getting difficult for me and I am cranky at my husband every time he eats. Sorry for the delay in my response Renee, my spam catcher went wild over the past few days… It’s normal after a few days to not have any more bowel movements since you’re not eating or digesting anything. Anything that did come out was stuff that was already in your system prior to your juice fast. Most of the toxins will come out through your urine.   1. So here is my question …I just finished a 1/2 a**ed first day of juicing, trying a few different things including a blended green smoothie (beauty detox smoothie) for breakfast and lunch. Can I combine blended smoothies to get the same results? Or should I only juice? You say 4-6 16-20oz servings, so to give me a goal… Would 80oz be sufficient? And how much water in addition to the juice?
    It’s not all or nothing when it comes to juicing for weight loss, though. You can safely replace one meal or snack with a healthful green juice and successfully lose weight, says dietitian Joy Bauer. At other meals, watch your portion sizes and stick to whole foods, namely lean proteins, fresh vegetables and fruits and whole grains, to help you drop pounds. By eating whole foods, you won’t feel as if you’re starving.
    I want to juice for weight loss however, I would like to do replace my B-fast and lunch with a juice and eat a healthy low carb. low fat dinner.
