Alexcia, based on my experiences it costs around $10 per day. Very inexpensive if you consider how much people spend eating out or even cooking in three or more times per day. Servings should be around 16-20 ounces and you should have 4-6 servings per day. I hope this helps.

The biggest thing I noticed within about 3 days of starting the cleanse is that my joints don’t ache so much. I know I had a lot of inflammation. My fingers ached a lot and knees and hips, but now it’s much much less. The other thing I’ve started checking is my BP. Honestly, I was scared to take it before I started. I know it was rarely if ever under 140/90 with a heart rate in the upper 80s or even low 90’s. I just took it this evening and it was 128/77 with a heart rate of 71. Pretty dramatic results in a short time frame.

Madeline, welcome to JOJ and congrats on starting your juice fast! Since you’ve been very healthy I doubt you’ll experience any sickness related symptoms. Make sure you drink plenty of water right after a juice and throughout the day. You may consider adding an unflavored protein isolate to your juices if you work out consistently to ensure you maintain muscle mass. Just have a juice whenever you feel hungry. Hi, I was wondering if watermellon is the one fruit that can be eaten? My mom doesn’t want me to just juice, but I’m wanting to loose at least 15-20 lbs. So to apease her and eat something, is watermellon ok? Thanks!!

Juice fasting is a safe way to burn fat but not for the long term. A week long juice fast is going to make the scale move, and if you care about what the scale says, than go for it. Do a week, two weeks, thirty day, or longer juice fast. But I recommend about ten days at the longest. You’ll probably lose about 10-15 pounds in the first week once you get past the headaches, moodiness, and sluggishness that will set in after the first few days on a fruit and vegetable juice diet.

I want to try juicing for 21 days ( I Have done 10 in the past on juice only) with one meal at lunch. I prepped juices yesterday for 2 days. I love the V8 juice I made without all the sodium. Tastes fresh. I’m doing this for weight loss and just to be healthier. I”d ultimately like to do a 15 day or 60 day juice cleanse to restart everything. Do you think adding protein powder is an okay thing to do? I worry about lack of protein…
