I’ve found that at the age we are at, it’s often difficult to shift unwanted weight, and that is why I was delighted with the results of my reboot. It was just falling off! You have to be disciplined though, resisting temptations will be a challenge, but if you set your mind to it you can do it. Keep an eye on your thyroid though. I had mine tested a few days before my reboot, and then 3 months later. You should check up on it first and monitor it. Avoid vegetables in the cruciferous group – kale, broccoli and a few others, as these will slow down your thyroid as well. They’re ok to eat if they’re cooked though, like in a soup, which i had for dinner at night during my reboot. And yes – start with a small goal which is more reachable, and then just add a day or two to it to increase the length of your reboot if you can. But if you can only do a few days the first time, that’s ok too. You can always attempt another one later. Even one day is better than none! Good luck with it!

Chad, you’re still going through detox. That’s a very common symptom of detox and it will pass soon. Detox usually lasts between 3-5 days. As far as weight, the more you start with, the more you can expect to lose. At your weight of 170 I’m going to say you will lose weight but probably not so much as to make you look super skinny or anything bad. Just keep on eye on your weight and set your self a limit that you want to lose, or a limit that you don’t want to pass and then start incorporating solids back into your diet. Hi I did the fast for 7 days and started to include solids in my diet. I’ve started worked out as well.
